The Male must get through
There comes a time
when only the most intrepid
the most audacious
the most fearless
and the most stupid
set out.
This was it
but in the finest traditions
the Royal Male must make its way
to the rapids
over the stepping stones
and into the river
to its destination
the PoW.

the Whitty Boys just returned from the Somme
Posty and Missus off hiking in the High Atlas
but,

on Wednesday we went in our own back garden
for a walk
and found
lots and lots of new interesting things

That was how it should be.
A sunshine start and a starry finish (and early for the pub).
This was a walking Wilkepedia - stacks of info on the Somme, buildings insurance, how to do 60th birthdays, sub-strata boring, the pros and cons of a recession in the housing market, which beer can be shipped to distant climes.
It was all there.
