This walk had megga landmarks. And we found a crumbling ancestral pile with a miraculously well-preserved picture of previous occupants(?) on wall of its roofless living room.
A towering mast.
A wide disused railway track.
A huge granite quarry.
And a start and finish at a car park next to a main road.
A walk on which you couldn't go wrong (or could you?).
Certainly, this time, in the daylight, we didn't!
