WW 6th May 2009

Contrasts that contrasted.

Tavistock murky and grey.
But, the horizon to the north blue and gold.

Sunlight like a low-angled searchlight across High Down.
But, in front, to the east, dark and grey

Up Doe Tor Brook, on the south side, dry and straightforward.
But, as we know, on the north, wiggly and wet.

Up Hare in thick, swirling cloud.
But, down from Brat, under the curtain, clear views of Cornish lights.

To the Trout and Tipple for bitter beer.
But, also, complimentary creamy sweet truffles.

Life is not boring.

You really do have to be there ...
