Stands at Doe Tor Farm
Watching
As the wind roared
And the rain poured
Watching over us
As we made our way
On a truly wonderful Dartmoor Day
A day when you just have to be there
To feel the wind and rain
Out and back
Past the old familiar places
Where we have been in the sun
And the cold
To see the water pour
Was it harder into the wind
Or with the wind behind?
Who knows
But there we were
Out and in it
Just as it should be
