The Winter that keeps on giving ...
After yet another brilliant snowy weekend out from The Walkhampton Inn to find some. Very soon lots of lovely drifts and the wonderful snowy squeak. Up through the fields to the church and along and out. To follow beneath the railway to Routrundle where the drifts were up to the tops of the walls to make a fine seat for a cuppa. To the amazing Pound with the 25ft. hut in the centre. Popping out on the railway and then uppety up to Leeden with blue skies and views far and wide. To follow the boundary work and find the stone row and the well drifted lane to Gypsy Rock. Welltown was well drifted in as we made our way back to the Inn for lunch with old friends.
