WW 4th April 2018

Suitably, traditional weather for the first ever walk to start at 7 p.m. From Belstone Green to enjoy the late sun and sunset. Round and towards the ridge -it must be there somewhere. Soon time to don full waterproofs and get out the compass. To head up to the misty tors and to be cast adrift by those pesky pixies. Along and along and down to the col and out to Oke. Where shelter was taken for a warming cuppa. Down the track to the wonderful Taw Marsh as the weather eased a bit. To seek out the radon bubbler and wonder just what use we could put it to. Back as a lone star made its way through the gloop. To a very welcoming Tors.

You really do have to be there ...
