TWW 18th April 2017

Thanks for a really lovely walk and hope you are feeling a lot better very soon.
A wonderful part of the moor especially on a sunny day with an encouraging north easterly. Past all the fantastic manor houses to Teigncombe. And gently up to Kestor to admire the rock basin - just a little bit scary for Doctor Who fans. Onwards to Middle and Frenchbeer and across to Thornworthy, where the logan might have moved, for a sheltered cuppa. We did mange to find those Three Boys and scientifically proved it is bigger than you might think. The Long Stone and amazing stone rows took us down to the Teign where students were studying little squiggly things. The Tolmen provided a perfect picnic stop and an opportunity for those in need to be cleansed. Round to the tor and the circle, over the clappers, by Batworthy Corner and Round Pound to the cars. What a nice walk.

You really do have to be there ...
