A really beautiful evening, blue skies, a moon and a nice cooling northerly. To set out from the Scout Hut. Round Edward's Path to the warren as the sun gently set. The pillow mounds quite dramatic in the low light. Over the weir and across to Shavercombe Tor following the rabbit tracks. The pretty falls with all their ferns and then on and up to Hen Tor for the brilliant evening sky. A cuppa then gently down to pause and admire the ISS sailing over. Somehow it did manage to just miss Sirius. Over the leat and ford and back to the cars. The Royal Oak was busy and welcoming, perhaps opening hours have stretched now Spring is here. They were there but no musicians or singers ...
