TWW 28th May 2019

Well it was quite a struggle, and we nearly failed in our mission, but with a huge collective effort we finally managed to complete the task!
From Wembury on a beautiful late Spring day with a cooling westerly and clouds scudding by. The fleet was in the bay so we felt well secure as we headed east. On the coastal path with views afar encouraged an early stop for a cuppa. Diving down to the ferry, neatly back up the hill and somewhat wandery to find the path not on the map. Through Clitters Wood and gently up to admire Wembury House and the amazing, if rather unkempt, walled garden. Tracking back through Wembury proved tricky as houses have been built everywhere and the nice footpath through the field seems to have disappeared. Down to the beautiful church, to the cars and on to the Odd Wheel. Where a most superior lunch arrived in double quick time.
A very nice day out.

You really do have to be there ...
